This was a magical moment caught as the morning fog was flowing through the low point on the ridge between two mountains. I made a point to try different routes every ride, so I never saw this crazy phenomena again. The valleys were often filled with fog in the mornings, and the air would change above 1500ft, getting hot and dry. It was most noticeable on the descent, sometimes plunging into the cool air at 30mph felt like diving into a pool.

If it wasn’t already clear from the first few posts, this blog is not really meant to be current or totally chronological. I have a huge backlog of content and I’m slowing making my way through posting it. Some posts may be based around a theme, like this one.
